Co-Founder and President of Energy Strategies, Inc., a boutique energy consulting firm in Tulsa, Oklahoma.   Former founder and President of Boyd Rosene & Associates, a natural gas marketing and consulting firm serving customers and clients throughout the lower 48 states in all aspects of their natural gas, oil and electric needs.   Managing partner of the Tulsa, OK office of Resource Analysis and Management (RAM) Group whose services were offered to independent oil and natural gas producers.  More recent activities and focus are regulatory in nature and consist of forming and directing Shippers Groups in response to the recent FERC Policy Statement (Docket No. PL15-000, issued April, 2015) regarding interstate pipelines asset modernization.

1983 – 1997

Founder and President of Boyd Rosene and Associates, Inc., an energy consulting and marketing firm which serves clients and customers throughout the United States.  Boyd Rosene serves all aspects of the natural gas and power industries ranging from providing assistance to independent producers to assisting large industrial customers in the procurement and management of their total energy requirements.

Partner, Resource Analysis and Management (RAM) Group
1981 – 1983

Established the RAM Group in Tulsa in 1981 and was the partner responsible for managing and directing RAM’s Tulsa operations.  Established a gas purchase contract analysis system that assisted producers in increasing cash flow.  Responsible for the organization of Oklahoma producers in their joint effort to enforce the common purchaser statute under Title 52.  This issue was heard before the Oklahoma Corporation Commission; and as a result of these hearings and the need for clarification, the Oklahoma Legislature passed H.R. 1221.

1977 - 1981

Principle areas of responsibility were energy and natural resource related.  Traveled with the Finance Committee to conduct hearings regarding the then proposed Windfall Profits Tax of 1980.

Represented the U.S. Government in the negotiations with the Osage Tribe regarding the subordination of the Tribe’s mineral rights.   Served as the U.S. Senate’s Southern Coalition liaison with the Southern States Energy Board headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.
